Privacy Policy — ClassTrack

Last updated: October 31, 2026 · Draft — pending Google Play release

Wild Boar Studios ("we", "our", or "us") operates the ClassTrack mobile application, a homework and test planner for students. This page explains what data the app handles and how. We designed ClassTrack to keep everything on your device and to collect nothing.

The Short Version

Accounts and Identifiers

ClassTrack does not ask you to sign in and does not generate an account, user ID, or other identifier. It does not use any advertising identifier (IDFA on Apple devices, the Advertising ID on Android).

Content You Create

The subjects, assignments (titles, due dates, and notes), settings, and progress (such as Sparks and your companion's name and level) that you enter are stored in a database on your device and are not transmitted to us or to anyone else. Text you save is checked on your device against a word list; this check does not use the internet.

Reminders

ClassTrack schedules reminders as local notifications on your device. They are created and delivered by your device's operating system; we run no notification server and receive no information about them. Notifications are optional, and you can turn them off in your device settings.

Voice Capture

Voice capture is optional and is off by default; you turn it on in Settings. If you use it, ClassTrack asks for microphone access and uses the speech recognition built into your device's operating system to turn what you say into text for the field you are filling in. Where your device supports it, recognition runs on the device and your audio is not sent anywhere. Where it does not, your operating system's speech service (Google's speech services on Android, Apple's on iPhone and iPad) may process the audio to produce the text. We do not receive or store your audio.

Third-Party Services

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with data brokers or advertisers.

Usage Analytics

ClassTrack does not collect usage analytics or crash reports. Google Play and the App Store may give us aggregated, anonymous statistics (such as installs and crash counts) from people who have chosen to share them with those stores; we do not receive this information from the app itself.

Tracking

ClassTrack does not track you across apps or websites and does not use an advertising identifier. We do not show ads.

Children's Privacy

ClassTrack is a student planner and may be used by people of any age, including children. It does not collect personal information from users of any age: it has no accounts, no server, no ads, and no analytics, and everything you enter stays on your device.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your subjects, assignments, and progress are stored on your device, and deleting the app removes them. We hold no copy of your data on any server, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. If you have device backups turned on, your device's backup (on Android, your Google account's backup; on iPhone and iPad, your device or iCloud backup) may keep a copy of the app's data until that backup is replaced or removed; you can manage these in your device's settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
